After September 11, the international scene has changed considerably, in both investigative agencies and above all, in the security and safety of private individuals.In Italy, to tell people who are in a crowded place to leave in the case of a terrorist attack ( security) or in the case of a fire alarm( safety) frightens them .So we ask ourselves, “Is it better to know or not to know? Do we feel safe, or are we safe?”

K-9 Services is able to provide dogs and dog-handlers qualified in detecting the following substances in any environment :

K-9 is also able to provide dogs and dog-handlers capable of searching for missing people, fugitives or illegal immigrants, or people swept away from some ruins due to great calamities.

ant8K-9 is able to train guard and defence dogs as part of a deterrent action program, for companies or private houses. The dogs, usually couples ( male and female),are trained to defend the territory and whoever lives inside it, signalling and dissuading possible intruders.

img15It may happen that a relative, an old person or a child strays away from home. Our 10 rescue units are able to strategically search for the missing person, by combing the countryside, forests, entire valleys with the goal to bring back the person safe and sound. If there’s an earthquake, a flood, or a building that has collapsed , the U.C.S are able to locate the buried people quickly.

p1010457Our arson dogs are able to locate/indicate flammable substances like kerosene, benzene, alcohol, and solvents, for a total of 40 fire components.These dogs are also trained to enable the investigators to verify if the fire was accidental or intentional.

    Our narcotics dogs are able to locate and indicate the following drugs :

    1. Marijuana
    2. Cocaine
    3. LSD
    4. Heroin
    5. Cannabis

    For legal reasons the K-9 dogs are trained with pseudo scent drugs that substitute the original drugs. They reproduce the olfactory particles of the drugs. The passive signal of the dogs enables the K9 unit to work in public places like schools, private houses, companies, night clubs etc.

      Our bomb dogs are able to find and signal different sorts of explosive substances-- both civil and military, even when there are many distractions around, including :

      1. Black powder
      2. Powder without smoke
      3. Military and commercial dynamite
      4. C4
      5. Explosive fuse
      6. Semtex
      7. Nitrocellulose
      8. Water gel
      9. TNT
      10. Time Blasting Fuse

      For security reasons the K-9 dogs are trained with pseudo scent explosives, which substitute the real ones. These explosives were developed for the U.S.A. Marine force in order to reproduce the MNO1 explosive kit in use in the Marines, the Marina, and in all the other American governmental organizations. This makes it possible to work in an environment where real explosives would be inappropriate, thus avoiding any risk during training that may be present if working with real explosives. They can be used in public places and in public and private vehicles. This makes it possible for the dogs to get used to searching for explosive substances in many places.
